We are ideally situated for that perfect summer or winter break.
There are many excellent walks, runs and bike rides directly accessible from Harmonie. These take you through woodlands and small villages nestling in the beautiful countryside. The mountains are close by and are spectacular any time of the year you choose to visit. It’s wonderful to take in the fresh mountain air and observe the wildlife here. Many types of wildlife can be found including birds of prey, deer and badgers to name but a few.

Beautiful Mountain Walks

Cycling
For serious cyclists there is the Col de Tourmalet, Col de Peyresourde, St Lary Soulan and the Col de Aspin and many other routes that form part of the Tour de France. In case this is not enough, we also have many other mapped out routes that we can give you when you arrive.

Down Hill Skiing
Some of the most popular ski resorts in the Pyrenees are within 1 hour’s drive. These include, St Lary (1700 – 2400m) and Le Domaine du Tourmalet (1400 – 2500m)

Cross Country Skiing
For those of you who do not ski but still want to try something challenging, there is ski de fond or raquetting. Nistos and Campan-Payolle are two resorts that specialise in these sports and are close by.

Thermal Baths
Take a day out to revitalise your body at one of the many thermal baths – The Haute Pyrenees is the leading French department for spa resorts, including Bagneres de Bigorre, St Lary Soulan or Capvern.

Golf
Some of the best golf courses in France are found near Harmonie, with the backdrop of the magnificent mountains and rolling hills.
